Crispy Chicken Caesar Burger

Ingredients:

  • 1 Skinless Chicken Thigh

  • Box Panko Crumbs

  • 1 Egg

  • 100ml Vegetable Oil

  • 1 Brioche Bun

  • 2 Slices Bacon

  • 2 Slices Cheddar Cheese

  • 3 Baby Cos Lettuce Leave

  • 4 Tablespoons Caesar Dressing

Instructions:

  1. Crack egg into a small bowl and whisk with a fork.

  2. Pour 1/3 of the packet of Panko crumbs into a seperate bowl.

  3. Dip the chicken thigh into the egg coating both sides then take out and place into the bowl of Panko. Once coated in Panko crumbs dip the chicken back into the egg then back into the Panko again and leave in the bowl.

  4. Place frying pan on the heat and pour in vegetable oil.

  5. Once oil is up to cooking temperature take out the chicken and place it into the oil, it should start simmering straight away.

  6. When the chicken is golden brown take it out of the oil and place it on some paper towel then discard the remaining oil.

  7. Place chicken back into the pan on a low heat and place the bacon into the pan as well, place cheese on top and cover pan to make the cheese melt and ensure the chicken is cooked all the way through. You can use a lid or another pan or even some foil.

  8. Once cooked put the bacon on top of the chicken & cheese and place to one side to rest, then open up the bun and place it face down in the pan to toast.

Now Its Time To Build Your Burger:

  1. Spread the Caesar dressing evenly on the lid and bottom of the toasted bun.

  2. Place the whole cos lettuce leaves on the bottom of the bun then place the chicken, cheese and bacon on top of the lettuce.

  3. Place the lid of the bun on top of the bacon and there you have it.
